We are dedicated to empowering students to build financial security, self-sufficiency, and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives. Coaching creates a powerful bridge of understanding that can take students from where they are now to the future they want to create.
Our Vision
LifeBound Coaching was born when Carol Carter connected the power of coaching in corporate America with the needs of college students and graduates to be career ready. She realized that coaching could have a significant impact on the ability of students to translate their degrees into success in the world of work.
Carol understood that when faculty and coaches ask first-year students powerful questions about the futures they imagined for themselves, these students are empowered to become self-directed learners, question-based thinkers, and strengths-based workers and leaders. Students empowered through coaching build powerful 21st century skills and demonstrate drive, ambition, grit, follow-through, and persistence in the face of challenge.
When students are coached to build these skills as learners, they become the professionals that the world of work requires, demands, and values. Skillful coaching allows students to discover the power of that connection.
